Ammon Hillman comes back from the Danny Jones studio with the story of the encounter everyone was waiting on. He shows the coronation hat from the episode and names himself the satanic Pope, then previews the meeting with the exorcist Bob Larson. The claim is simple: Bob arrives talking about his fearlessness before the devil, but when the Bible is opened and the Greek is put on the table, the exorcist cannot answer and runs. The episode says the weakness of Christianity is its own book, which its defenders have never actually read.
The middle of the hour is a test in reading. The Epic of Gilgamesh is read aloud with its steady repetition of days on a sickbed, then set against Aristotle, quoted by Plutarch on music, where harmony is called divine and demonic and arranged in numbers.
