Video Description

Ammon Hillman admits this is the hard lesson, because music, in this reading, is not decoration. It is the physics of the cosmos, an invisible art sitting under everything. The proof starts with Aristotle, who says nature, physis (φύσις), has a fondness for making symphony out of opposites. The painter mixes light and dark, the musician mixes high voices and low voices, and grammar itself mixes the sounding and unsounding letters, the vowels and consonants, until one harmony comes out. Nature, the episode says, is the master rule behind proportion, and the arts are all copying her.

Then comes the word work. Empedocles sets the table: necessity, ananke (ἀνάγκη), is amousos (ἄμουσος), without the Muse, while persuasion, peitho (πειθώ), is mousikos (μουσικός), belonging to the Muses. The stream opens the old music’s vocabulary one term at a time: phthongos (φθόγγος), a sound made by the voice; diastema (διάστημα), the space between sounds; systēma (σύστημα), the scale, a word that also means a constitution and a government; tonos (τόνος), the stretching and tension, from teinō (τείνω), to stretch, the same family as the Titan stretchers; and metabolē (μεταβολή), the change of key that also names a change of government. The peak is the seven-stringed lyre and its four-note scale, the tetrachordon (τετράχορδον), whose outer notes stay fixed while the inner ones shift into the diatonic, chromatic, and enharmonic genera.

The close becomes a history lesson. The episode reads Cleonides on Harmonics as proof of a lost education, and says the Dark Ages happened because these pagan scrolls were burned and the Renaissance happened because they were found again. Cadmus (Κάδμος), the serpent wrapped around Harmonia, is named the master of the god’s strings, the neura (νεῦρα), which the lexicon also translates as nerves. The final claim ties all of it to the coming resurrection: the way a people treat their music shows whether they are rising or falling, and the old world’s musicians, men and women of letters alike, were its rockstars. The word music itself, the episode ends, is a Greek word.

Welcome back to Tuesday night, Lady Babylon
Oh God, we’re gonna initiate apocalypse tonight
But I have to tell you, this is gonna be completely raw
That’s why I said almond raw at the beginning
get it? Right? I was making it funny. Anyway, tonight I come to you with all true humility
because the whole time that we’ve been together, satanic congregation, we’ve always gotten to the
right. We’ve always seen the right. We’ve been in it. We’ve watched it evolve over time. We’ve
watched them with their drugs oh god we watched them with the sexual rights that are in the cult
yeah you know and why am i so humbled tonight because tonight we’re going to the next
that the place that the initiate goes that always always humbles there’s a reason and it turns out
that reason is absolutely gorgeous. And I’m bringing you that reason tonight. And I’m going
to show you, I’m going to show you, and I’m going to do that in the one way that I was trained to do
it. I’ve got to tell you tonight, people, you’re sitting out there and a lot of you, I’m going to
warn you, a lot of you with the things that I show you, you’re not going to understand, okay?
I’m not going to understand. Do you understand? You and I, congregation, are in the same group
tonight. Now, there are some of us, because usually I know what’s coming, right? This is
different. I’m showing you what is the mystery, and it’s very, very, well, it’s gorgeous. It’s
history’s gorgiosity oh god oh by the way how’s my mic yes we’ve been let let us know you know
what i mean as we blast off we’ve only got so much minimize mature we’ve only got so much energy here
in the falcon you know what i mean i mean we’re not in the falcon but here we are tonight um
is that yeah um no i have no idea let us proceed then look the ship has been taking us there we’re
going. By the way, if you’re not sitting on the throne, hurry, okay? Hurry. This is the location.
Who are we? We are those who sit on the throne of the devil. Hail Skuthah. Do you understand?
Do you understand? Oh, God. It’s absolutely… Okay, you hear the cult stuff coming in? Oh,
God, right? That’s where we’ve been. That was the last thing you and I heard, right? We’re in the
drugs. We’re in the death. They have done to us what they were supposed to have done to us to
get us to that higher level, that place that we can see the invisible and interact. Now,
the way we’re getting there is we slip through this doorway. The way we’re getting there is
the music is the music do you understand the physics of the cosmos are compelled by music
now you understand why the magoi those wizards yeah now you understand why they’re always carrying
around that guitar now you get it do you see this is why you and i satanic congregation most
of you are going to be with me tonight. We’re dummies. Okay. I got to give all due reverence to
the God of music tonight. I got to give all due reverence to the God of those strings.
That’s what I have to do. And I’m going to come in as an initiate who is ignorant. It said on
his temple, what did it say on this dude’s temple? The God of the guitar. It said, know yourself,
know yourself. The fact is, when you see that statement, you’ve got to realize, I don’t. I don’t.
Oh, God, it’s gorgeous. Are you ready for the harmony? That’s who we’re tracking down.
We’re tracking down. Don’t get me wrong, people. Before we step out of the ship into the mystery
and we’re seeing the invisible, okay? And by the way, for those of you tonight who,
there will be those of you who made it through that third of ancient greek education that was
music you made it through it and it’s a part you’ve been attuned and it’s a part of your soul
oh god you reached attunement oh they talk like this people i’m not making this up they talk like
this now it’s very difficult for me to bring this frequency tonight because it’s hitting us in
english right it’s hitting us you can see the renaissance where’s the look people this is a
fantastic book i want you to check out i never you know me i’m almond baby i never bring in
modern sources right i never do but i have to now in deference to those of you who understand music
and to who this penetrates you already have a this is part of your being good for good for you
That’s fantastic. Now I’m going to take it and we’re going to inject some Bacchic wine into it
and we’re going to watch it grow. What is this book? Apollo’s Liar. Oh, it’s gorgeous. Greek
music and music theory and antiquity and the crap ages. I mean, the middle ages.
Now what happens? About 500. Anno Domini. The music goes away. The music goes away.
it has to be rediscovered and when they do so in the renaissance they are confounded in this
classicist whose greek is exquisite i recommend exquisite it’s got the greek text in it too people
oh and by the way it’s online uh in the um it’s already archived in that big ass what is it called
the big library internet archive what of course so um i want everybody everybody who’s like me
and doesn’t know and wants to see the greek or the masters who do know and want to see the greek
because you see greek education was three things it was the poetry the words it was the music
and it was mixed martial arts oh god love it oh god well i made it through the i made it through
the words part and i’m going to show you i’m not making this up people i’m going to show you
aristotle saying this right he’s going to mimic me tonight you know why because he’s my little
bitch isn’t that glorious i love it you know what for all that for all those philosophy courses you
put me through, Aristotle. For all of that, and for that medieval dimwit who turned you into some
kind of Jesus philosopher in Tartarus, baby. This is what you’re going to be hearing. Guess who’s
going to be giving it to you, Aristotle? Some necromancer. Some necromancer. Are you people
ready for this? It’s gorgeous. You deserve it too, baby. Let me spicy. Oh, look at that. Put
is spicy. Am I spicy for you? You don’t have to. I guess you can. Let’s celebrate. I’m
not spicy. If you think I’m spicy, you have nothing. You’ve seen nothing yet. Oh God,
get ready. Just don’t start quivering until I bring it. Oh God, give it to me. Look at
the people. Give me a nice one. People, this is your, look, here’s some water to splash
yourself, baptize yourself, you hot monkeys. What is the purpose of that fruit, right? What is the
fruit that is brought to us by Daphne, the laurel? What is the fruit? What is its use? He says,
you neither eat it, nor do you drink it, nor do you Christ it. Okay, fantastic. Did everybody
hear that? When you hear that ping in the Greek, the Christ thing, you’ll understand where you are
within the mystery. What is this laurel that becomes the symbol of the God of music? By the
way, what is this worship, this cult that we have now boosted up to the invisible? What is this cult?
It is the cult of Apollo, his mother who dug her hands into the dirt and squeezed it as she was
giving life, not just any life, but the life that brings music. And it was in the form of twins,
twins. We worship twins, Apollo, right? Oh God. And who, who is the, who is the leader of the muse?
we’re going to look at the word muse tonight music who is the leader right of the muse as
the god of music baby who is the leader of the chorus that is the sister of the god of music
do you understand no no i was not right i was not saying it for a reason do you understand
the music is in the fabric of the ritual and the rite itself. Listen to yourselves for a minute.
I want to wake you up. This is created by her, right? Listen to me, chorus. This is where the
music is coming from you are devotees of an invisible art it’s the art of music and it
creates everything it’s invisible do you understand this is the thought i’m going to show you in the
text this is the thought this is where they are and again please please understand me congregation
i’m terribly dumb when it comes to such things i’m telling you no music education no no no no
no music education so i have to be very humble and um say you know hey let’s just humbly follow
the muse on her track and hopefully via the logos we’ll get through it through what amen
through that mystery vision through that mystery performance through that music okay now if you
didn’t know that music was the underlying force of the universe the fabric of everything that is
and was and will be then you know what was the most by the way if i can just say what was the
most powerful moment that Amon experienced. You remember my best day, right? We experienced it
recorded. The most powerful moment was brought to me by a stage. The fates were kind and provided
for me a place where I could fill an audience full of people who needed to be purged, full of priests,
some of them needing purging in a chorus. How did I do it? A chorus. It turns out it was a chorus of
Catholic college girls dressed in what can only be described as alluring, powerful,
dildo-wielding Catholic girls. And they pointed them at those priests, said,
your greed stains your soul with a stench of ruin the interrogator wanted to use a four by
two by four that’s what he told me i will never forget i will never forget the most powerful
moment comes from that stage of purification when that ancient phallus is pointed in your face
And if you think, what is he doing? Where is he pulling this from? Remember how you got here.
Remember the right. This is the Bacchic resurrection that you’re currently experiencing.
Understand who you are and what year this is. Isn’t that weird? And you would think,
you mean like calendar? Everybody’s like, calendar? No, no, they’re not thinking like that.
they’re thinking of how the universe happens and it happens in years oh god you didn’t understand
the prophetic class did you okay get out of here get out of here timmy we found the origin of timmy
didn’t we we found the origin wasn’t he he was on a show i like to listen to the am radio in the
evenings when they have uh in the falcon when they have um christian programming and timmy timmy is
my favorite oh god get out of here timmy that’s two from daddy give me the next one oh god people
look at this i want you just to read look um he writes that he is a thracian and a trafficker of
boys fantastic not fantastic for him but there’s something and he adds the following story how on
smallest a laurel and an olive disputed about priority for they grew beside one another
they were going through their own attributes an ancient bramble that’s batos do you what
yes do you remember the bush that burns but isn’t consumed he’s speaking here too
and he says stop before we gratify our enemies yeah the laurel looked down at her and said
oh evil oh god look the laurel blasts the bodice right oh evil disgrace how the hell are you one
of us we find who saw that thracian guy with the kid do you guys remember the boat he was sailing
on a boat. He puts the kid to sleep with a drug, cuts off his testicles, and turns him into an
angel. God, those Thracians, the stuff that happens with those Thracian pirates is just
fantastic, people. Did you think it was a fairy tale? Did you think? Just take it down for a
minute, people. Go ahead and leave it just like that. No, don’t blow me. Put me in the mountains.
I like to be in the mountains, right? What is this? This is February, baby. We celebrate Bacchus
from the mountaintops, right?
We’re being led by Ioheira, the pourer of poison.
Give me the next one, Chewie.
People, notice the humility starts to turn up in my voice
because this, this is good stuff, right?
Go ahead, give me the next one.
Wherever we’re going, people, I can’t wait.
Chewie, I love that.
Look, people, look at the strings on that guitar.
They’re getting hit by that lightning.
oh god priesthoods people here’s a tiny word here’s a tiny word i’m going to peek over the
edge here um look at this people if we’re going to talk about music we got to talk about the word
symphony and i’m going to show you a word tonight it’s longer than anything i’ve ever seen
here’s a symphony right what is the symphony symphonos what is that thing that is bringing
that sound together, right? It’s the harmonious, something that is in concord with something else.
Now, look at number three, people. Okay, now here, this is good for the grammaticoid, right?
Look at number three. What are ta sunfana? What are those symphonies? They are consonants.
they are with the voice they are with the sound do you understand look at this the fabric of their
language is music it’s absolutely gorgeous having the same speech look at number two
speech by the way don’t ignore that right right what are you when you are symphony you’re in that
same zone, right? Do you understand that marriage? There’s a link there with Zoom. It’s gorgeous.
Gorgeous, harmonious, agreeing, friendly. Okay, give me the next one. People, symphony,
a musical term of classical physics. Classical physics. Here’s another one. I want you to think
about this any clear distinct sound especially what i like to call the voice fungus fungus
what is that you know the word diphthong right right when two of those sounds come together
what are they right they merge into one diphthong well here what is the what is the what is the
sound it is that vowel that you make with your mouth right it is that vowel to make with you
look we had symphony we had vowels god consonants and vowels people do you understand the language
is the product of the music just like everything oh god do you understand oh so gorgeous
does anybody else think this is gorgeous you know what our reward is look at harmony look at harmony
she has a snake around her we covered her shame with a cross which they didn’t do in antiquity i
don’t know why the people have so much hate have so much hate for harmonious harmonious well if
If it’s not shame, what do we call it then, Amon?
Say glory.
We should say glory.
The nerd in me wants to say her compounding device of doom and love.
Something like that.
Um, yeah.
Certainly not her shame.
After all, you’ll be hos theoi ewa.
You will be as gods.
Don’t you think it was worth it?
What’s wrapped around harmony?
It’s a snaky snake.
Do you see it? Do you know who that is? That’s Cadmus. Do you know why Cadmus is wrapped around
harmony? Because he is the master of God’s strings. The master of God’s strings. They call
them the Neura. Can you translate that as nerve? Yeah, you can. Do you know what it is that causes
that ejaculation of those vowels. It’s the lightning in your nerves. Oh, can you feel it?
Can you feel it? It’s how they use the magic. Do you understand? Cadmus, the master of those
holy strings, is wrapped around harmony. People, is this phenomenally nerdy? My God, man, these
people saw into the reality of the physics of everything and just captured it just like they
did their art they just captured it i was reading something and i want you if you have any slides
for this i know you’re not for this but i was reading something that made me very humble
more humble than humble do you understand it said the smart people are the one to know music
music notice notice do you understand now he didn’t say all of them he didn’t say all of them
are smart right but the ones who really really know the music somehow dip into some kind of
quantum you know real they start working with the invisible you realize music is an invisible right
in the beginning god created uranos and kaya and kaya was a oratos invisible welcome music
of the creation you see this is all wiped out it’s all wiped out by the monas because what
they said was that greek text that’s so rich and that we don’t need to read that we’re going to
read a form translated from this ancient hebrew that wasn’t even active at the time they only
had 7,000 words, and we’re going to try to make something that we can own and sell. Do you
understand? That’s monism. Monism always comes back to the selling, to the selling. Think about
it. You don’t enter into that slavery and you willingly sell your soul. Oh God, you Christians,
you christians you’re amazing you’re amazing you watch it happen you watch it happen and yet
you can’t snap yourself out of it it’s amazing it’s mercenary it’s mercenary do you understand
what is not music yeah do you understand realize realize please that these people
have laws against bad music and i read another section that talked about that you should punish
those people because they violated X, Y, and Z laws about music, right? What is good? What is
good in your opinion, right? Only that perfection. Only those strings that bring the lightning,
right? Do you understand? It’s holy. It’s holy art. Don’t mess with it. I’m going to drug you.
You’ll understand, okay? Fantastic. Fantastic. Look how sexy Apollo is, baby. Who wants some
Apollo. It’s always there. It’s always there. Sons of God, you see them, people. You see them
today. Did you know the sons of God walk among us? Did you know they did? They bleed out. They
bleed out Apollo’s hot, hot mojo. Do you understand? Oh, God. No, you don’t, right? But you sit there
and scream. You sit there and scream. You utter a vowel. You’re into that harmony. Boom. The two
become one. You’re resonating, vibrating at the same place and boom, you’re fainting. You’re
entering into the death, that gorgeous, gorgeous, beautiful union. Oh God. Oh my God. Give me the
next one. People, I’m telling you, this stuff, it scares me. It scares me. It’s so, they’re so
plugged in. Should we pull this up, people? Look at this. Oh, it’s just a, I just wanted to see,
this is another one. What does this word mean? Number two, to shout aloud. Well, it’s used to
various cries, newborn babes, but it can also be just to celebrate, just to celebrate. Look what
they’re doing with the voice. That’s what I want you to be paying attention to. These nerds are
doing something. Give me the next. How many words are there, by the way, to make utterances or
noises or songs or creations of your vocal power how many of those are there in it in ancient greek
a lot i don’t have them counted it’s a lot okay people here comes aristotle come here come here
okay i’m gonna give you this aristotle now especially since we just saw god last episode
right? We saw God. Here she is again in the first line, Aristotle, Hephusis, right? Here she is
again, nature. And what does Aristotle say? Nature has a particular fondness for creating symphony
from things that differ, taking those opposites and putting them together. That is how nature
herself creates. Okay, so wait a minute. You mean we have physics and religion, language, science
all wrapped up into one, and the dude is sitting, this guy Aristotle, he must have been a freaking
smarty. Yes, I’m telling you he was. I’m telling you, and please people, don’t get trapped in the
dark ages when they took Aristotle and turned him into an idiot, right? Remember, this music
of the Greeks has to be rediscovered, has to be rediscovered in the Renaissance.
This is not something that anybody can do. It’s why I’m humbled. Do you understand? There’s
nuclear power in what I’m showing you, right? Oh, God. Of a quantum sort, right? Nuclear power
of a quantum sort. Oh, I’m so dumb, right? Give me the next one, Chewy. Give me the next, yep.
Yep. Okay, people. Are you ready? Let’s blow. Let’s blow minds. Oh, God. Empedocles, people. Empedocles says that necessity, ananke, she is amuson, whereas patho, persuasion, is musicon.
let me say that again necessity is without the muse persuasion is music okay do you understand
okay it’s always this balance they’re always they’re always looking i didn’t finish aristotle
did i know there’s a shit ton more go back there so people keep that in your mind i’m sorry uh i
i shorted aristotle so how do we start out with this nature likes using opposites right and then
he talks about male and female. I want you to go down to about the fifth line. And he says that
the art in life, it mimics nature in doing the very same thing by using opposites. And it says
zografia. So for example, painting mixes the light and the dark, the ochre colored with the
reddish yellow colored mixes them together takes those opposite natures and it produces
symphony okay that’s one what art are we talking about painting number two music see it highlighted
in yellow music what does music do oh god music mixes those voices those voices that have elements
that are sharp and those that are deep right now you see where i’m falling here these are
technical terms in music right and i’m falling short the sharp and the deep right the greats
and the the broad and it’s uh confined these voices it mixes together they’re different types
of voices and yet it makes one harmony so music mixes opposite elements now i know there are
musicians sitting out there who will say oh my god this guy is a moron right it’s basic stuff
right and i’m sure you’re thinking about all the chords and the i don’t know notes oh god me
and, ah, what is that? Did you know they have a word for the string? For example,
Lady Babylon, Congregation of Satan, please entertain me for a minute. They have a word.
The Greeks had a word for the middle string of the seven-string lyre. Oh, and why? Why would you?
Who cares, Larry? Call it Larry. I don’t care what you call it. No, they did it because it’s
special string it’s in between two things and they have scales so they have all of this invisible
technology that makes me afraid because i don’t understand it and that’s when i have to turn back
to the vatican hill to the fact where’s my hat you have to go to the vatican why do you go to
vatican people look this was part of our little like little things here this is part of the deal
You get a little side trip with Amun, a little field trip. Isn’t this nice? Where are we? We’re
at the Vatican Hill. And who is there at the Vatican Hill? You know, we don’t come here just
for the food or anything, right? We come here for the Sybil. And what does she say through John
Littus, who records, who’s the poet who recorded? What did she say? Watikannes. You’re in the cult
of Waticanus, by the way. She said, you’re stupid. You’re not going to understand. I’m going to
transmit to you an analog. Get ready. Do you understand? You don’t need to be smart. You don’t
need to have a comprehension of all of the mechanics. You need to follow her voice. Isn’t
that gorgeous isn’t that gorgeous what do you think the oracles are there for right oh god give
me give me the next one diana’s moon baby apollo’s son and diana’s moon do you understand why now
oh god it’s so busy at night by the way people starting to get busy there’s so many there’s so
many. It’s everywhere on the planet. Sometime it’s time for banana-ing. Sometime bananas find
people moaning and groaning and saying vowels, all sorts of stuff. You can ride that wave of that
time. Just like there are years, there are times. Do you understand? It’s funny that I have to
educate you this this is the stuff that i have right just you’re reading the sources but it
forms the foundation of everything okay finally he says so he talked about um the painter the
musician and then now he’s going to talk about grammatica the art of grammar oh god that’s my
favorite what does he say grammatica the egg for name don guy off on on what does the grammar deal
with. It deals with the balance of the letters that are phonetic and affinetic. Those which
have the sound and those which don’t. Do you see the opposite? Those are consonants and vowels.
What are your vowels? It’s the thing that comes out of your mouth when you’re transitioning between
consequence it’s the oil that allows the vibration of the frequency this machine doesn’t work without
it this talky talk that’s why the stupidest thing that somebody once said to me and this is somebody
that cnn interviewed right he’s an expert he said hebrew doesn’t have vowels my god you moron
um no language can not have vowels bro look what you missed you missed the origin of the universe
you’d never be able to sit with aristotle you make it away with an augustine but an aristotle
absolutely not an augustine probably kick your ass out too because he had an appreciation yeah
you go with you go with no no not even origin where do you go man i don’t know i don’t know
thracian may the thracian pirates treat you well that was the dumbest thing i’ve ever heard anyway
um that’s the way it is people look at this you know you love it what happens grammar mixes just
like music and it’s an art that does that it takes it and it creates the balance it brings out the
symphony right oh god give me the next one give me the next one people oh you’re okay a little bit
more of music and the closer we get the more we get into it the more stupid i feel that was in
pedocles people what’s the difference between necessity and persuasion right give me okay if
you can’t think those as opposites and you’re not in the mode you didn’t get on the throne dude go
get back on the throne yeah satan and all that poor hat give me the next one i’ve got it captive
I’ve got him captive. What are we talking about when we say the Ananke, the necessity is Amusan?
That’s the next one, right? It’s the definition, right? People who are doing the Greek,
and people, by the way, people who want to, I know I’ve done it through a few, just a few of the
units, and I will continue going through the units. Don’t worry. This is full, by the way,
This is full sabbatical, right? Fantastic. Why is it not coming up? That’s really weird.
Okay, this is taking forever. I’m not sure what this next slide is, so just wait for it. I’m glad
to see everybody. Look what’s happening. Look what’s happening. People like it. I think people
like it. You know what I mean? It’s frustrating. At the same time, it kind of gives me an opportunity
reach out to people and say, by the way, glorious email. Dude, I feel glorious. Fantastic. I’m not
able to answer it. It’s like I should. I try to, but not like I should. Amusos, without song,
without song, look without the muses. What are those muses? They are that taste or refinement.
now remember the musicians will best understand this right what is that musical that’s what i
would like to ask different musical groups yeah what is that refinement that you bring
to the art because if you don’t have it a-hole we’re going to crucify you
that’s how it should be run right who wants that who wants music run that way
take it out of the hands of the sellers and give it to the people who will worship and honor
the music oh my god can you imagine how many mercenaries you’d you’d throw off and throw
off into the pit holy mackerel there’s lots of musical mercenaries did they use this
did they understand this no they didn’t and that’s dangerous know yourself know yourself
and to those musicians out there
who this is part of their inner being
and their fabric,
congratulations, meet.
Meet your people.
Meet your people.
Look at Alvin.
Meet your people, right?
Fantastic.
I hope it jibes with your soul
and disturbs you and comes into your dream.
There’s so many people.
People, I’m telling you,
once you fly that darkness,
once you start entering those dreams,
oh god there’s so much there’s so much moaning it’s like a sea just imagine a
sea of people moaning oh it’s exquisite it’s exquisite it’s fields of feeding I
love it people don’t think that I’m bringing up the vampirism just because I
want you with some kind of fictional bullshit this is very very sincere when
i say vampirism vampirism goes way back right what do we do with that freckled redhead kid by the way
with all the pimples remember that kid we last time i remember we had him tied up does everybody
remember that satanic congregation we had that redhead he had pimples he had to have pimples
right so we found him we tied him up we put him over the coals raised his body gave him all those
drugs and then we bled him in multiple ways there’s many ways to milk a human right speaking
of things we want to milk where the hell is henry cavill give me the next one give me the next one
here we go people seriously let’s settle in and let’s look at the fabric of creation are you ready
for this they are but i am it’s really young people it’s really we really have a giant delay
I really apologize for that. What is that which is music costs land look for the Dorian people mozzie costs, right?
Yeah, holy Moses mommy
Shut up
Musical what are what are things that are musical Agones?
I bet you’ve never heard of a musical
contest a
musical struggle an
epic music battle and some naked wrestling you know what i mean you got your wrestling
your pancration let’s beat the crap out of each other and wrestle ladies too right
i’ve seen 10 year old girls in text beat beat the crap out of each other in an arena
no i’m serious i’m just i was watching it in this text reading this text i was like
It’s just mouth open. My psychic mouth was open. And then I didn’t want what to do. I saw the last
one standing and I was like, what do they do? What do they do with her? Right? What do they
do with her? Last girl standing gets the priesthood. Do you understand? Can you believe
that? If instead of at seminary, if you graduate all these people who forced, who hopefully have
not done anything illegal, right? You could take these people and graduate them and make them say
their vows? No, no, no. Put them in a room. And the last person standing, that’s your priest.
Do you see what ancient Greek education was? It was a third gym. And I’m not talking about the
gym like you and I had. I’m talking about Pancrassian, beating somebody up, submitting
somebody do you understand combine that with a guitarist and a grammarian wait what yeah yeah
poet and you have ancient education do you see what they made and they’re poets who were trained
in mixed martial arts and music do you know what they did they made your world they made your world
that historian that i just showed earlier he writes about he wrote about in his introduction
how they acknowledged in antiquity that the greek lettering was a musical invention that the music
ran through the letters i told you people you fans of egyptian i told you people yeah yeah
cartouche the hell is that they injected music into their voice to create their
language those ancient Greeks those ancient Greeks right who is this guy is
he a Greek no I’m not I’ve 0% Greek in my body 0% right do you know what my
ancestors did they stood in bogs they ran through cold mountains wearing the
skins of animals making things to get themselves drunk so they could forget their ass lice do you
understand me right what are these greeks doing maybe it’s the beaches it’s all the beaches i
guess notice they’re all coastal what the hell you get to a beach life next thing you know you’re
wearing a skirt talking about trigonometry oh my god creating mysteries that create religions
like that which the pope here he is before he goes i just want to give him one more spank say hello
to the devil did we send him on his way is that spicy that’s spicy pope meat who wants pope meat
did you know such a thing exists no i’ve been there i’ve been there it’s in tartarus
yeah you can order it they shave it they shave it from him yeah no it’s like a it’s like a deli
it’s a sandwich kind of thing you know all the demons love it baby no well yeah mine you know
he’s the good part man he you got to get to him first right that yeah anyway administrators dude
you got to think about administrators in every in every quantum enterprise right okay sorry give me
me the next one give me the next one let’s get back to it people give me some concrete right out
of the greek um and give me give it to me from the greek that should be a phrase give it to me
from the greek um and give it to me chewy are we giving it to him i don’t think we’re giving it to
him it’s just i love your oh by the way look at this map people this background look at this thing
yeah it’s nice here we go what is this definition here musicos now what is that let’s finish up here
right because we talked about that struggle that argon right what is that what is somebody who’s
skilled in music or musical you can talk about professional musicians you talk about those who
accomplish things through the muse look at number two the victorians tell us oh a man of letters
what if it’s sappho asshole right then it’s a woman of letters now wait a minute you mean
they’re educated people were their rock stars yes think about that world think about that world
which we live if we could live in a world where the judgments were brought by those who understood
the magic the physics the beauty of music oh god what a and people why is it that their musicians
would be ruling because their people are like pythagoras baby do you understand none of your
innovation is going to come whether it’s your language the changing evolving ability of your
language the growing ability of your language or whether it’s any other art your architecture
right good musicians know that they know that it’s like in there they understand at least you know
it’s it somehow reaches them in a way that you and i can sit here the listeners can sit here
we can say oh i can appreciate it i really can appreciate it but i can’t create it right i can’t
create it oh makes you want to sing makes you want to bring that orgiastic vowel oh god give it to me
um uh next one people a couple of terms here a couple of terms here just to just to round out
the music so you know what i’m thinking about i’m thinking about the resurrection and the upcoming
resurrection that’s what i’m thinking what is that which is your symphony look look it’s you
here we go um people just look agreeing sound or harmonious okay okay okay i get that i get that
right um but i want you to look at number two now metaphorically you’re gonna notice this in
all the lexica for the ancient greek they’ll have a section for for your um for your like
your basic meaning like what the word basically means and then they’ll have one that well that’s
what it basically means but here’s the metaphorical right now what are they trying to communicate to
you this is a this is a dictionary um in multiple dimensions this isn’t linear this is okay you’re
gonna have the basic use of the word here and then you’re going to have its development into
of metaphorical realities and these metaphorical realities are all types by genus do you understand
me and you can analyze these metaphoric realities through language the study of language right and
those of us to do that are educated in the greek system system when a christian comes to you today
dirty dirty dirty hang on don’t take it a dirty dirty person comes to you and
says all those idiots in antiquity they were all illiterate yeah this is the
world that they are trying to burn in front of you so that they can create an
empire of bullshit an empire of bullshit an empire of bullshit yeah sellers what
is this music look at number two it’s something that is in proportion do you understand it is
something that is in proportion you mean take it down you mean there’s some kind of master
rule to the universe yes that is lady nature and she loves ocean oh god it’s how those musicians do
everything there’s not a second that they’re not working with proportions right oh god you thought
it was just plucking no right nobody thought it was just plucking right we knew it was more
sophisticated we’re not as stupid as you think give me the next one that’s what we say right
that’s what we say nevertheless give me the next one oh it’s not here comes resurrection people
does resurrection have anything to do with music and jesus right how about you moses and your
burning bush tell me can you hear the voice of god where’s the old time religion right my god man
look see what i mean people this stuff is look at this this is one definition people this is one
word. How could it possibly be so much on one word? I can’t think of a single English word
that needs this much. Let’s see what it is. Here we go. Here we go. Sunopto, to join together.
In a physical sense, it can mean to join. It can mean to join, right? It’s got hand in hand and all
that kind of stuff. Nice, nice, nice. But I want you to see, number two, jump to the metaphorical
side of joining. And what do you see? Combination in thought. Combination in thought. Okay. Okay.
Notice we’re branching into a type or a genus that is going to, it’s going to carry its own
universes of satellites, right? And other words that have roots that are related, connected
somehow by these invisible lines. With regards to person in a hostile sense, you can bring somebody
into action. They use the example of engaging in a conflict or a battle with somebody
in a friendly sense to enter into conversation with, to interlock, to make that connection.
Give me the next one. To make that connection, to bring us together. This is what the magician
who is the musician is doing right don’t try to explain it look at we’re still going look at
mathematically this is this is the same word mathematically what does it mean it’s uh the ratio
compounding ratios compounded of right so not to compound number two in music oh finally finally
i’m such a dummy look i’ve been running around the library i’m like where is it where is it’s
not math here it’s music it’s music for us in music it is a shit i know it would be something
inexplicable oh god i hate this okay for all the music people out there it’s uh things that
are conjunct joined together conjunct about tetrachords here right you can see the sun
a mena tetra horda all right conjunct tetrachords okay yeah no idea let’s keep going people no idea
i have no idea where we are i drank it i’m just here for the i just want to see nature you know
what i mean that’s all i’m here to do i’m just here i’m satisfied with the priestess baby people
look at this what is that tetrachord i still don’t get it i’ve read this 50 times tetrachord
musical scale of four notes okay i can hold on bounded by the interval i told you right
didn’t we tell you this is the what the greeks are saying of a perfect fourth oh crap is that
why you have that meese damn it i and you know just when you think just when you think you’ve
got it in ancient greek music the descending tetrachord was the basic unit of analysis
and scale systems called the greater perfect system and the lesser perfect system
them do you do you realize all of this science is about things that you cannot see you cannot see
them they’re invisible i thought i thought the um thermodynamic stuff was crazy you know what i mean
this is the muso dynamic right oh look i just coined word yeah feel that on your butt cheeks
you know what i mean give it keep it keep it i want you boom was formed by joining successive
tetrachords only the outer notes of each tetrachord were fixed the position of the inner
pitches determined the genus of the tetrachord the basic form was the diatonic genus now people
i want you to realize that every one of these goddamn words is greek this is some bog trotter
that picked up a greek manual you know what i mean if i in 2 000 years in the future that’s
how i would reconstruct it its modifications form the chromatic and inharmonic and then they give
the notes there, right? And they talk about pitch. The Greek theorist, Cleonides, oh, finally,
of the second century AD, discusses the tetrachord and its genera. Now, fortunately,
go ahead, take it off. Fortunately, these people, these Greeks, right, were smart enough to be able
write all this sophisticated nerd stuff down do you understand how did they lose it then in the
middle ages why do you think because these people were pagans these people were idolaters these
people are into mysteries that are not our mystery so what do you do yeah you burn them you burn the
scrolls hence the dark ages the renaissance that comes later is the result of their rediscovery
of this incredible material right what is classical music my god it’s physics baby
right here he is cleonides is the author is the author of the greek treatise on music theory
entitled harmonicae all right introduction to harmonics the day of the treatise based on
internal evidence can be established only to the broad period between the third bc okay so
potentially going back to the third. So look, they think for internal reasons that it’s the
first century, probably the most likely. Good. Okay. So at least you know roughly where you are.
So you’re not in archaic Greece. You’re not in archaic Greece. You’re in Hellenistic Greece.
That’s where you are. Fantastic. Give me the next one. Talks about Euclid and a whole bunch
of those people right oh god it’s the music people i’m telling you they use the music somehow in the
education to make people really really smart what’s going on resurrection time people we’ve
got to open the portal we’ve got to bring her forward do you understand we’ve got to bring
her forward this muse that we’re looking at now please the falcon is throwing us give me the next
one it’s up there already okay um why does it keep harping on resurrection what does he do that for
right people the music is the foundation for mother greek’s beauty do you know these stupid
humans finally figured out to do as you share with the watchers you know what these stupid
humans finally figured out to do they figured out how to meld the music with the spoken language
and they created a tower cheese tower what is this here he is i brought you cleonides how people
now this is the proof i want you to know this text is the proof that i am not smart
you understand me this is the proof right here it’s a musical text no seriously people um i
didn’t expose myself to the music on the greek side there’s so much ancient greek that you really
are forced to specialize in order to master anything right so every music i’ll just be
honest with you every musical text that i came up came across as a graduate student as an early
professor as a ronin all of those um every one of those texts that i came across i was like ah
another day another day because it has its own technical language you can see i’m going to give
you a few vocabulary words now that are basic vocabulary words he just says what harmony right
or not just harmony because that’s harmonia harmonica is that art of harmony right
harmonics is look at the beautiful episteme theoretic do you see where you get theoretic
episteme that science right that theoretic science right take i
what do we see again look at the second line at the end nature nature there is a harmony
people in nature it is a characteristic an attribute of nature herself oh god oh god
right show it show it to him i wanted you to see this passage because i wanted you to see
this writer is taking the music and is dividing it into its components into its elements into
its stoicheia right into its basic elements and what he’s doing is giving you the vocabulary
so that you can navigate so that you can navigate do you hear me who is that navigator we talked
about the other day that navigator of the universe the pilot of the ship that is the cosmos the
organization around you do you understand right the music is her tool the manipulation of magic
is always through music always through music do you understand the idolatry right oh the song
people the song is there because of the music those fundamentals of the quantum reality that
you and i call home god gorgeous you mean the musicians are the are the ones that we should
elevate to the level of medusa yeah yeah they are okay move over move over astrophysics rock and
role is here fantastic place people what are people’s congregation the muse love it love you
too thanks jeremy and ruby good to see people who are turning up and coming out love almond
thank you justin almond loves you too hail musicians yeah really tonight people seriously
think about those musicians in a different light and by the way those of you who are musicians
think of yourself in this light think of yourself as that sacred hand of god you are her beauty baby
oh yeah you know why apollo’s so hot you know why he’s so hot you know why it is give it to me he’s
got the music next one and i want to give you a few terms basic terms of music just go ahead and
put the next one up, Chewy. These are defined, right? These are defined for us. These are
preserved for us. I just want to put a couple of them down. What did I give you this one for?
No, that’s okay. I want to go right to the terms. Go to the next one. Go to this one,
Chewy. Wait, where is it? Okay, I want to start here. People, here’s your basic term,
thong gone thong gone i think it’s actually this one thong gone okay and what does that mean
all right look what they look what they tell us here no just glance a voice okay we get it
speech sound particularly of musical sounds and they give you specifically that sound
of the liar so you you please must you must understand go the next one you must understand
that voice itself or sound are joined in one in one okay next term next term what is it
that’s in the plural right these are genitives because these are with the preposition that’s
forcing them into the genitive case okay what is there another we’ve we’ve got our voice
right we’ve got the sound that it makes when we when we pluck that liar string we’ve got that
sound and we have what what are these diastema tone go ahead chewie right i want to use their
definition because these people are freaks about this stuff blow it up blow it up what is the
diastema people look at this it’s a distance it’s a distance in geometry it’s the radius right i
told you nerds total nerds right by the way geometry egyptians didn’t figure out geometry
right they figured out putting block on block baby and they did it a lot big deal look at number five
in aristotle’s symbolism it is the conjunction of two terms fantastic fantastic look at number
two medically it’s diastasis like for example in bones right how neat neat okay so um give me the
next one it’s a distinction people it’s a distinction get on it’s a contrast get on
what is that get on this one people you’re gonna have to figure out on your own because this no
i’m serious no i’m serious yeah because this is just genus okay this is just genus some type some
type of something right some category excuse me that’s better said some category of something
so there is a type and when you look at the definitions even the definition of genus for
me is a little bit i’m like right don’t quite okay go to the next one doesn’t quite jibe people
i told you we’d be the dumb ones in the room i told you i really hope the musicians are getting
What is sustematos, right? Sustematos in music. What does sustematos mean? What is that sustema?
Look, I can tell even though it’s tiny. Look at how, wait, is this a musical term? Why is it so
complicated? Why is it so complicated? Give it to me. Sustema, whole compounded of several parts
members a system as you and i would say a composition in the literary sense a composition
oh now i see where it’s going with the medicine i mean with the music number two constitution
organized government oh shit really did you think the musicians were the ones who came up with all
the goodies of course of course a form of government right we don’t need to worry about
constitutions today right they’re burning it down orange hitler’s gonna wipe his backside with it
nobody cares none of those none of those people care you know what your ancestors thank you suck
give me the next one especially the greatest generation no not the next one this one oh did
you already switch it blow it up so i can read it quick quick joy people boom uh body of soldiers
generally a flock or college of priests a sustain in music it’s a system of intervals or
ta-da scale oh okay you thought you didn’t think that scale you didn’t think that scale was
oh part of uh uh government did you come the way that you constitute the people i want you to think
about that for a minute the way that you constitute the people is your scale i told you the musicians
can rule the world. Be the only way to go. What is your taunus, right? What is that? Next. What
is that? Look at how beautiful that word is, by the way, until it switches, right? What is that?
People say, oh, that’s your town, right? You’re going to town. Well, let’s get it down. Let’s
just not do what the New Testament scholars do, right? Let’s just not do this sloppily. It’s
always sloppy sex with New Testament scholars. You know what I mean? Come on, people. Get your
act together. Get your act together. What is tonos? What is tonos? Look, people, that by which
a thing is stretched, or that which can itself be stretched. Yeah, okay. Think of the stretching.
Stretching tonos is from teno, to stretch. Remember those titans? Those are stretchers,
right oh my god look at in machines this is tiny we’re doing a stretching a tightening do you feel
the strain do you feel the tension that’s what heraclitus says is the harmony of the universe
the tension do you know why it is beautiful chewy thank you for blowing up do you know why the
tension is so important you cannot have the climax of this cosmos without tension now since we are
all creatures of sexuality you will naturally understand the tension that builds into the
climax okay it’s part of you that understanding i don’t care if you’re fighting it i don’t care if
you close your eyes while your pastor husband mounts and you think about jesus to get your
mind off of his inadequacies i don’t care stretching tightening straining of sounds
it’s the raising of the voice hints look people pitch pitch all right okay now um they say here
including volume okay so oop and they give a little greek tonally phonies right ox do it can
be that sharp or it can be paru right oh god it’s great pitch your accent also and just you know
these accents that we see in the greek right you don’t realize they’re musical until you see here
Now, in musical writers, it means key. It means key. Key. And how is key one’s exertion? One’s energy is your key, musically. Does that make sense to any musicians out there? Please, write to me. Or make a note somewhere in the comments. Key. Is that what key is?
Next one. We’re almost done, people. Another one just to blow your throat. All these men wear skirts. Isn’t that cool? It’s so you can change both things easier. Is it metabolism? Is this metabolism? Yeah, it is.
Now, what is the metabolism that is music?
What is the metabolism that is music?
We’re almost through the terms, people.
These are the basic terms, the foundation of harmonics.
Harmonics.
You want to get harmonia?
You want to be that snake?
Shut up and listen.
What is the metabole?
It is that exchange, right?
It’s that exchange.
Look, in one case they say it’s a transition or some kind of change.
Look at number two, underneath Roman numeral number two, eclipses they refer to as these transitions, right?
Changes of government, migrations.
In music, what is it in music? Modulation.
And you can apparently modulate tonos and genos, okay?
tonos and ginos i still have no idea it’s chinese to me people it’s total chinese if you’re sitting
there it’s chinese to you too just realize realize what the gorgeous mother greek has given us it
just look look you don’t have to be you don’t have to be deep you can be super superficial
and just appreciate her beauty she doesn’t mind she doesn’t mind at all that’s the group that i’m
sitting in tonight for all you musicians who are plugged into it you know okay good for you good
for you good for you i’m glad give me the next one is it messing around why does it keep doing that
oh you’re adjusting things okay i thought you were i thought it was giving you a hard time okay
we’re almost done people we’ve got one more boom what is our last musical term i want you to know
as we reach out for that indirect light of dusk and dawn melo boy yes what is that it’s just a
combination of melos which is a song and poi eos which is the creation what is this creation of
song grammatically what is it give me the give me the definition and people by the way that umlaut
over that second iota with an accent over it it’s not it looks like a little dude doesn’t it i just
realize that but no it’s um to tell you that that that thing doesn’t become a defungus it doesn’t
become two two vowels joined into one right there is no harmony there melo poya making of lyric
poems or music for them. Generally, music. Now, check out number two, musical composition
as opposed to its practice. We’re talking about musical creation. And what does the God do?
The God creates via music, okay? The God creates via music. Let’s open up with the last one. Those
the basic terms people and he goes on to define those you’ll take each of those you know write
out his own definition of them and that’s just like the day one in class in music class look
at these people right you you really don’t understand you can follow the success of our
civilization based upon based upon what it’s doing with its sorry people we just we just gotta
we just got an intercept from a priest of apollo and i think it’s relevant modulations are changes
of key in a song or composition right okay modulation look what it’s doing it’s taking
all of that basic um you have one side over here and another side over here and these things are
opposites or their degrees, their proportions. And you take these things and you combine them
and all of a sudden you’ve got music and that music creates. And one of its components of
this creative power is its power of modulation. You’re describing a divine art to a people who
have lost their connection. Bring us back the connection. Bring us the bridge. Please, people,
please listen. There’s a place. There’s a place that we must go. We must be free. We must have
that which is our birthright to have as humans, as children of earth and sky. We must have it.
I love it. Bring it out. Bring it right out of the ground. Yep, Chewy, we’re going to finish up
tonight, and we’re going to tell the congregation, please, students, I’ve just gone to total
sabbatical because the resurrection is coming, right? I’m full sabbatical. I won’t be able to
spend time in classes anymore. I won’t be able to. I need you to keep going, right? I’m going to do
and you for people to be able to do it on their own. But for my personal students, okay, you are
where you are. Realize now is time to regroup, to look at some things, to pull in some ancient
literature, and to start diving. You sexy beasts, you must start diving. Take off your clothes and
into the pool of ancient Greek while I’m on sabbatical because I want to see you when you
come back, and you get out of the pool, and there you are. Excellent. Music, mixed martial arts,
and grammar. That’s what makes us servants of the Virgin who gave us democracy. Oh, I love it.
I love it. Hail the music tonight. I’m sorry I’m insufficient. I’m really sorry I’m insufficient
to be able to bring you that full revelation, but I thank you. I thank you. I thank you.
thank you for coming tonight hail satan what they keep doing to the children she taught me in the
craft creed of the assassins chocolatier caramel sugar scope maple syrup beluga caviar the venoms
flowers from the trees purple seashells for the monsters in their dreams in a land with the second
son of Mordor, Atlantis is rising, Urania, Uther, Medawar, Bopper, Lavenus,
