Ammon Hillman opens with a claim that overturns the usual story: the earliest followers of Jesus were not called Christians but Sibyllists, people of the Sibyl, the oracular prophetess whose songs the first church quoted. The episode then goes after a scholar from Haifa who says the Septuagint is not plain Greek but a special Judeo-Greek, a Hebrew Greek. That, the channel answers, is a made-up category with no name of its own and no text behind it, a patch to explain why the Greek the whole cult is written in is so rich. The hour’s first exhibit is Abraham, read in Greek as a pirate, a perates (περάτης), a trafficker who carries people across the sea for sale.
The center is a Sibylline prophecy against Israel. The Highest, called by the name Yaho, is named as the god who sends oistromania (οἰστρομανία), the gadfly-madness, and takes away the faith of the Hebraioi (Ἑβραῖοι) because they reject his son. In return Israel gives kolaphous (κολάφους), beatings, and drug-treated spittle, the same kind of spittle the episode has tracked to Jesus working his own saliva into the clay of healing. The claim is then made plain: the word Hebrew itself comes from the Greek for the wanderer and trafficker, not from an Israelite language, and the oldest surviving words of the Jewish cult are in Greek, not in Hebrew or Aramaic.
The close walks through the officers the Sibyl names inside the mystery: the star-reader, the oneiropolos (ὀνειρόπολος) who reads the things that fly, the pharmakis (φαρμακίς) with the drug knowledge, and the magos (μάγος), all of them called gregoroi (γρήγοροι), the watchers. The punishment poured out on the intoxicated is oxos akraton (ὄξος ἄκρατον), the pure vinegar read as the antidote that balances the Christing, given to people struck in the heart by the oistros (οἶστρος). The final line is the thesis of the whole hour: Judaism and Christianity grew in the same womb, both out of the Greek mystery, and the lie goes all the way back to the origin.
