The ancient serpent, ho ophis (ὁ ὄφις), the dragon who is the devil and the satanas (Σατανᾶς), is seized and sealed in the abyssos (ἄβυσσος) for a thousand years before being loosed to gather Gog and Magog. The point pushed all hour is that this is not a future news report but an initiation, the same mystery the cult language keeps naming.
The anchor is a pair of names: Ouranos (Οὐρανός) and Gaia (Γαῖα), sky and earth. The Scythians, the episode says, swear their oath by these two, and the pairing runs through the oldest Greek poetry, so the apocalypse is telling the reader to remember that people are children of earth and sky. The white throne, the books, and the judge are then read as Zoe (ζωή), called Sophia in the text, the queen and her consort, with the lake of fire and sulfur, to theion (τὸ θεῖον), holding the music and prophecy together rather than describing a place of torment.
