Video Description

This is a classroom episode. Ammon Hillman opens a new run of the free ancient Greek course and lays out the reason for it: a person who can read the sources never has to take a rabbi, priest, or preacher’s word for what the text says again. The class is built on twenty units of grammar, using the textbook by Hanson and Quinn, and the stated goal is an army of independent readers, people who can dig up the sources themselves and no longer need a middleman.

The proof comes from a single sentence in Greek. Opening Mark 14, verses 51 and 52, the episode reads about a neaniskos tis (νεανίσκος τις), an indefinite young kid, a diminutive, who follows Jesus wrapped in a sindona (σινδόνα), the linen cloth, until he is grabbed and leaves the cloth behind to run away naked, gymnos (γυμνός). The grammar is the point: a participle sets the circumstances like a courtroom testimony, and a final nu (ν) is added to one word before a vowel to keep bad sound from clashing with vowel, turning cacophony into euphony, kakophonia (κακοφωνία) into euphonia (εὐφωνία).

The class also returns to the prior episode’s claim. Lucian, a Greek-speaking official of the Roman government, wrote that deceivers use nonsense words they call Hebrew or Phoenician to confuse people. The response is to learn Greek rather than trust a translation, since the oldest text Jesus quotes is the Greek Septuagint. The episode closes with the teaching that everyone will hit a wall somewhere in the twenty units, pushes past the made-up seven-thousand-word Hebrew as a falsely simple language, and leaves the student with an untouched frontier, from grammar to the toxicology of Philumenus.

people how do you think that skill is coming my god you’re burning it up chewy nice job thank you
teddy base thank you very very much right teddy does not do this for me for money he doesn’t
no he just makes them and then he gives them it is a sacrifice right and that sacrifice is smelled
all the way in hell to the depths. God, I love it. Thank you, Teddy, for the music and gorgeous job
chewing. People, I want you to welcome yourselves back to Amen U. I want you to take a seat,
And I want to tell you, what is going on? What is going on? You can have a skill. You can have
the skill that’s required to go directly to these sources so that you never have to listen
to a rabbi, priest, preacher, holy person, nun, monk ever again. You can go right back to the
sources and you will be able to see where they are lying to you. Because people, there’s one
thing, satanic congregation, you know this, you know this, people love to lie. They love to lie
the deception. They bathe in it. You know what I mean? So they can fulfill their worst fantasies
and bring out their greed. Do you understand? Oh, God. People, I want to start today by saying,
who am I? Who am I? Do you know that I am Amun, right? Everyone, Amun. Thank you. Say my name.
Indulge me, hail Satan, and say my name.
Amen.
And who am I?
I’m the one who can give you the skill to free yourself
from the deception that hangs in the air around you.
I can give you the skill to be independent,
completely independent.
Thank you.
Thank you.
You may stop saying amen.
You may stop now.
Although I find it quite sexy that you do that.
oh god okay you know how to get me people you know how to get me what’s important what’s really
important is the teaching people i want you to know if you don’t mind having a casual conversation
here as we open up class which is by the way the biggest ancient greek class on the planet
on the planet understand what we are part of see where you are in history i can introduce you
To your beloved. Someone who will stay with you your entire life. Doesn’t matter if you’ve got
two years left or 180. Doesn’t matter. Because she transgresses time. But do you understand?
My God, man, I’m showing you a language. Not just a language, but the language. The language that
gave us everything everything you don’t realize yesterday people you don’t realize this but
yesterday we punched a hole in the sky we punched a hole in the sky i showed you an ancient greek
author saying don’t believe this bs from these flim flammers they’re always confusing you
and saying oh it’s hebrew or phoenician those languages don’t exist it is flim flamory
to control your noodle lucian official of the roman government oh god do you understand greek
speaker greek writer greek renovator resuscitator lucian okay people this is who you’re dealing with
with. Fantastic. I am here to give you access to that. You and I have been together, and we’ve
seen all the people with all the YouTube shows. We did a little tour, and we watched. We went all
the way from people just running away, because why? Why would you run? Why would you run from
Amun, people? Put it up there. Why would you run from Amun? Please, because you cannot hold that
source in your hands. You cannot commune with her. You can’t. It’s your punishment. You realize
you’re in Tartarus. You don’t have the source. What did the museum do? It gave them the source.
It preserved for them the beauty of that celestial mother Greek. The beauty of mother Greek.
I can give you access to that realm where you can live with her and she can guide you
throughout your life no matter how long or short she will stay with you you mean you mean I’m in
our black belt is a is a muse yes exactly when we get to the top when you get to the top ranks
what are you do i give you a belt no it’s your access to her right she is that rank
how beautiful is this people this is a real skill so we started out and we watched the beginning
somebody run who pronounced the septuagint is the septuagint right like dude this is your field
All the way down from that gross, inadequate lack of knowledge,
all the way up to somebody who, yeah, I sleep with the muse every day.
I even read Euripides.
Oh, really?
Well, here’s some straight from the devil.
Can you translate it?
Does it say what Amun’s been saying?
People are shocked.
Did you realize that they said in antiquity,
people are flim-flamming and they’re doing it with this Hebrew and Phoenician
that doesn’t exist okay who do you think these last days are right what do you
think the price of that life is I’ve got to get used to my it’s got a certain
motion people you know what I mean the whipping and the flogging are two
different arts that’s for sure that’s for sure oh here too he wants I knew I
I would do that. What a terrible idea. Fantastic. People, what you have to do is you have to press
forward. You have to press forward the art of learning ancient Greek so that you can have
access yourself to these sources. This is not something that you will gain overnight.
Do it again. You are such bad influences, people. You are such bad influences, right? Don’t worry.
don’t worry we will get this worked out we have to um get serious um right get serious here’s
what we need to do people and i want you to consider this very carefully i want you to sit
there and think about me and a former student of mine right who um are sitting today talking to
each other talking to each other now i was going to share with you her entire email her entire email
but it is to her personal advantage right now that I do not. But she’s happy for me to
give you several messages. She learned. She learned what education was, what a teacher
really is. And through nemesis, she was gifted. She was gifted with a vision of justice and an
understanding of why it is that things are the way they are right now. This is one of my students who
is an A-plus student, right? Worked her butt off, did everything I said, everything I said,
and ended up mastering the material, right? She is like many people out there, people that go by
that I don’t have personal experience with,
but I know you’re out there.
And I know there’s a tremendous responsibility
with what I do, with what,
Chewie, with what you do, with what we do.
There’s a tremendous responsibility here, right?
We are not here to get you into a back alley.
Do you understand?
My fingers, they’re right here.
People, you need to have access to ancient Greek.
And I am giving you the opportunity,
the opportunity to access that real from antiquity you don’t have to listen to me
do you think my students go off and have to hear and talk to me all the time no because now they’ve
got the tools and they can dig up the sources themselves right and sometimes they can send me
questions and i can say hell if i know nice job gorgeous fine hell if i know right right and
that’s when you know the work that is being done. We started off with Kip and we ended up
with Ehrman all the way at the top. People, how does he do that? How does Ehrman do that?
How does he walk in and kick down the doors and take your text and walk out and say,
bye-bye? How does he do that? Oh my God. Maybe it’s because he’s running. Maybe it’s because
he’s not rooted right i got no sponsors people i don’t care to sell you shite and there’s one
person who makes that possible right now and i’m telling you this because i do not teach
i do not teach i have no students right now and i get email from the start classes again
when are we going to start classes again doc don’t call me that just call me on let’s jump in
to that stream yes oh chewy thank you chewy that’s why chewy is part of the rebellion you know what
i mean right um questioning questioning my student was also um whose email someday i hope that i can
read to you because it’s a you know you get those testum testaments of of beauty moments in the
world that you realize oh god this is all worth it right oh and you acknowledge you see the other
person in the fight and all the shit that’s happening, right? And you’re human to human.
You’re human to human. That’s what is really important. And someday I hope to be able to read
you her email. And it had to do, by the way, with the impact. The impact that my teaching was setting
as a standard that was opposite of what the world was giving, right? Pure nemesis in the end.
Oh, God, this email is like a movie. Reading is like a movie, right? Brilliant. Fantastic.
Anyway, one of the things, questioning people, it’s not a bad thing. It’s not a bad thing.
Question. Look at the person who’s talking to you, right? Now, of course, I tell you that because
I’m devilishly handsome and I’m talking to you right now.
You look at the person who’s talking to you and say,
where are this person’s hands?
Where are this person’s hands?
How many times in life have you gone somewhere and said,
well, get your hands out of there.
What are you doing?
People are getting handsy.
When you can look into the eyes of someone and know who they are,
and you can know if they’re a monster or if they’re an angel,
right? A messenger of God. Could be the devil. Could be your chance to get the fruit. Could be
that question that you’re able to give to the oracle. Can you imagine, people? Can you imagine?
This is the way the world is. This is the world that created democracy. You can go, if you want,
You can go to the oracle, and you can ask her one question, and her answer will be the universe’s heart poured into Mother Greek, an antenna.
The language itself must receive that message.
That’s why it’s so important for you to see that the Greek was carrying the message that was then chopped up and destroyed in the ancient Hebrew fabricated texts.
Do you understand?
The Masoretic text is an attempt to stop the muse from singing.
the Greek, thankfully, has been sitting there. It’s what Jesus Christ was quoting. It’s what
Jesus Christ was quoting. When Jesus Christ was quoting what you call the Torah now, do you know,
or the prophets, do you know what he was quoting? Yeah, he was quoting the Septuagint. He was
quoting the Greek, quoting the Greek. Do you want to be able to read that? Do you want to be able
to know who she is, God, you’re going to have to do it through the Greek. And do you think that’s
going to happen overnight? No, you will get deeper and deeper and deeper over time. Many of you
sitting there now in our assembly, many of you have studied four chapters, five chapters,
six chapters you’re on unit some of you are on unit 15 some of you walked away from it and came
back i know why do i know this how am i all knowing no it’s just email people right so i’m
answering all of that email tonight we are getting back into session with school and i want to
explain something to you. My students, right? My students, my actual students, please understand
that I’m working right now on my magnum opus. The thing that, what is your magnum opus? It’s,
you ask? It’s that work that is the culmination of your life’s study and experience. It’s that
great work. And if that’s an artist, it’s that sculpture. It’s that song. It’s that symphony.
It’s that painting. Where was it when that artist’s soul was made visible and enabled you to
see the muse in corporeal form? Where is it? That’s what I’m working on. That’s what I’m working on.
And I’m working on that for a person.
Somebody asked me, somebody, my student asked me,
I’ll just tell you this, this is okay,
and I think this is illustrative.
She said, what about the money, Amin?
Right?
Because she’s not impoverished.
And for a minute, for a minute,
I was put into the position,
I could smell Jesus.
I was like, somebody farted a Jesus over here.
Right?
What do I do?
and for a minute I realized how cruel, how cruel, how cruel it is. Sell everything you’ve got,
give it to the poor, and follow me. How cruel is that? Your creed stains your soul
with the stench of ruin. Let me tell you something, my student. You were given a gift,
a gift of justice in an unjust world. I don’t think your concern should be,
what about my finances? You already passed the test. The greed, the greed is what stains.
Can you see the greed in the people who want to cover up for the people who are violating
children? Can you see that greed? What fuels the sycophant? What fuels the sycophant? Do you have
any nice pictures? Make me small. Put up something. Chili, for goodness sake, I can’t maintain the
mojo in the cockpit for that long. Put something up. How about him? That’s nice. Fantastic. Look
at this guy. Right now, people, how is this relevant? The trick of the mother Greek is she
has that voice of the past, present, and future. That’s an expression they had. I’m not just
pulling that out of thin air that’s an expression the voice of the past present and future the
prophetic powers writ in logoy do you understand this is the magic that you must learn this is not
taught at universities why why is it that almond can make greek so sexy right because i just turn
you just open the door say go for it’s not pre-packaged for you to buy it’s not pre-packaged
for you to consume it’s just unadulterated glorious mother greek that’s the key to everything
oh oh god people are you ready are you ready you’re going to be able to do just imagine for
minute you’re going to be able to do as we walk through this what a professor who went on a
podcast right who went on danny jones and did his thing and realized sitting there you all saw it in
real time he realized oh my god that you know that christ is a drug christ is a drug is can
Christing be a drug then Danny said he said nope right people do you see the power that’s
magic do you see the power over the mind right what do we do we opened his eyes he didn’t want
it and he closed them back again like a child right do you want to see the mystery do you want
to see the original Christing people do you realize there are people all over the place
saying right now um what is a christ what is the christ there are people who are saying wait
there’s christing outside the bible yeah there’s christing outside the bible imagine that people
look at how far forward we have pushed people they’re now opening up and saying wait a minute
there’s Christ everywhere. It’s not just something that’s, you know, Jesus. It’s not. It’s not. And
we are showing people where all of those things are. And this is why you have book burners,
right? Our enemy here, the empire here, are those people who burn books, who stop media,
who control information. That’s who the empire is. If this is a rebellion, the renaissance only
comes as a rebirth. What had to happen for us to need a renaissance? We had to have a death.
We had to have death, people. Renaissance only comes after death. And guess what? I am profaning
the mysteries by teaching you Greek. You will have more religion, pure, undefiled religion
with Mother Greek than anywhere else on the planet. Do you understand me if you don’t believe
me? Listen to the Indian King. Gorgeous. Right out of an Indian King’s mouth. Isn’t that lovely?
Okay, fantastic. I had to get some of that out. Don’t fail to question. Chewy, don’t you agree
that was important? Don’t fail to question, people, right? Question. Can you imagine learning
that? How many years does it take me to learn that? It’s that Aristotle, people. It’s the
Aristotle. What are you going to do, right? I know it’s nerdy, but this is the thing you need.
you need to be given the renaissance yeah why is there cake and pie here chili you bought cake and
pie today your habit man sugar habit what i just like to blame you for that right because i know
you’re a sugar junkie and you’re gonna bring it in there it is i’m gonna get some sneak in
Rise at midnight. Don’t. All right, don’t. Let’s do it. People, what am I offering to you?
While I write my MO, I can’t have students because I need to focus. And so it’s nothing
personal, by the way. There are people who assume it’s something personal. No, don’t worry. You
didn’t fart. You didn’t, no, it’s nothing wrong. It’s not you. It’s me. It sounds like what? No,
seriously. I can’t have students. I can’t. I’ve really got to concentrate and focus and get this
done. And if you know me, as you’ve been with me for the last three years, you know, right? Dude
has a concentration issue, doesn’t he? Yeah. Are they all? Okay. Right? Now, people requesting
whipping. It’s not whipping. It’s flogging people. Come on. Get your termination down.
I’m going to put this. Does anybody mind if I flog a melon? I don’t think that’s it. Is
that YouTube friendly to flog melons? I’m going to flog melons. It’s going to be a new
sport i’m gonna put the microphone down by the melon okay so you can hear tell me people if
this sounds good this is asmr for weirdos right mommy what’s he doing imagine yourself right here
timmy oh okay ready does everybody love that is that okay with the whipping people have been
begging did timmy feel the lash oh man there’s something to this flogging business i didn’t
realize that, you know, Gibson, I understand it now, man. I get it, man. Let’s flog Jesus.
Should we flog Jesus? Let’s flog anybody involved in the violation of youth. Can we just agree on
that? It’s a world that worships the great mother. Can we just say, here are lashes for those who
violate youth, and that includes blowing them up, blowing them up, or shooting them, right?
This is basic morality 101 for those who still respect the gods, for those of us who still
worship justice, right? This is what we do. We don’t let them get away. We don’t let them get
away with their nastiness. They can be perverts. We don’t care. We don’t lash perverts. This is
hell. Do you understand? We don’t flog perverts. We flog predators. Understand? Does everybody get
that? That’s straight. That’s straight from Lady Justice. I love it. Love it. You’ve got to get the
motion oh I’m gonna like this people all right now here’s what I want you to do here’s what I
want you to do you’ve all you’ve all seen this text and you were all at various stages of the
Greek intensive course what I am going to do is give you in very rapid succession overviews of
the units and how to get through them the units and how to get through them now I want you to
keep in mind a few things as we begin. And I know you’re all at different levels. And somebody’s
like, wait a minute. I’m on chapter 15. Hey, shut up. Shut up. I’ll get to you. Right? Make me use
this. Right? See? It’s fantastic. Oh, if I could have done this when I was a professor, wow.
Do you see what it frees? It frees me, right? Being a Ronin. What’s that? Yes. Right? Melon
has been cleaned. It has been completely purged. The cleansing I’ve pronounced on the melon.
Excellent. Melon cleansing. That’s fantastic. I told you people are smart, by the way, too.
Didn’t I tell you that? Now, people, those of you who have gone a certain distance and have to,
you know, hit the wall, because you will. People, I want you to remember this. You’re going to always
hit walls with Greek. You’re going to hit walls. Why? Because we’re not just talking about a
language. We’re talking about a thousand to two thousand years of language, right? Just think
a thousand BC-ish down to 500 if you want to stay, you know, a little conservative. That’s
1500 years, right? If you extend out to the Byzantine lexica that you’re going to want,
people, you’re not going to not want Byzantine Greek, right? Just like you’re going to hit a
bump in attic koine, right? In attic koine, you’re going to hit a bump and you’re going to be like,
oh, we need to go back to the old ways. There’s a corruption. There’s a corruption. That’s how
they talk about it, people. Grammarians. We’re going to look at some grammarians. Yeah. Put up
the alphabet. People are going to look at grammarians. Do you understand there’s so much
literature? There’s so much literature that all of you in the sound of my voice could learn the
intensive greek and then go off on your own in your own in totally different directions
everybody where nobody studies the same thing nobody studies the same thing can you believe
there’s that much ancient greek okay can you believe there’s that much do you wonder why
civilization came to us through this medium nothing you can say i hereby defile and stain
and mark all of your tongues, just as mine is, by the way. I know that sounds bad, but just as mine
is, that Greek will get on your tongue and make its way to your brain and sit in your brain and
make it grow like a vitamin, like a vitamin, people. It’s not going to be easy. Many of you
will have pathways that are dark. Many of you will have pathways that are light. Do you understand?
you’ll go your own ways. You’ll forge ahead. Some of you will be pioneers. Do you realize
there are people sitting here in satanic congregation who could be pioneers in a
field? Are you ready? I’m going to demonstrate exactly what I mean. I’m not going to just BS you,
right? Because you’re not paying me and I’m not taking money. Largest Greek class on the planet
is free because this is the museum now i do you see a loss went off track there
no no we’ve had enough whipping for now and it’s not whipping it’s flogging technically
it’s flogging right right okay right they didn’t stand there with horse whips with jesus right
right they got on the goods one more time there is people um this will give you access to things
Let me give you a specific example.
Filuminous, right?
Right?
Has anybody heard of this guy?
No.
What?
Is it that philosopher?
No, it’s not.
It’s people, their entire works of toxicology out there.
Do you wonder what happens when you give certain drugs to people and what it does to them?
Are you the least bit interested in that?
you know, that’s an entire front, an entire new pioneering front of your past. Nobody knows that
stuff. And there are texts out there that talk about it. There are texts out there that talk
about it. Do you want to know about the practices of these women who handled the snakes? And do you
want to know why it is that they’re the ones who know how to give you an abortion? Where is the
knowledge coming from? You’re going to be surprised. You think the world is dominated by men.
You’re wrong. Your mind is dominated by men. Love it. Love it. People, what do I need you to do?
I need you to come with me for 20 units. I want to bring you Mother Greek in her most
scientific layout. I want to give to you what was given to me, the privilege that I had in my
lifetime of being able to sit and listen to her and to see and to realize how despite my insufficient
understanding of the cosmos and you know shit the understanding of my living room right despite my
ignorance of the profundity of the world that there is this mother and she’s a language and she
can nourish you like the women were nourishing the snakes, right? Fantastic. Fantastic. And what
are you, where are you going to get this? You’re going to get this all through the creek. Now,
people, I’m very, by the way, I want, before we go to the text really quick, and I just want to
show people what we’re going to do, where we’re going to be going. And it’s going to be fast
because, you know, I’ve got the pedal to the metal on the MO and I’ve got to get it done.
And by the way, there is someone working on a portal.
There’s someone working on a portal to the underworld.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
The artistic perfection, right?
This is what we can do with the Greek.
You want to know, Lady Babylon?
You want to know, Satanic Congregation, what we can do with the Greek?
We can open up a portal.
we can open a portal in space time we can breach you mean we can go to mars who gives a fuck that’s
the next rock over i’m talking about opening the universe oh god absolutely lovely i want to talk
to you about it but you know what i’d much rather do and i wish a better service to you i’d rather
complete it and bring it to life. Watch her brought to life. Oh God, it’s going to be gorgeous.
Absolutely gorgeous people. Some things, some things. Go to the textbook. People, what do I
need you to do? This is your tool. I don’t care how fast or slow you do it, right? You’re going
to think, oh my God, I listened to unit 13, right? And it was incredibly complex and I’m confused.
I have no idea what’s going on.
Hey, stop.
Did you follow units 1 through 12?
Well, you know, you’ve got to discipline yourselves, people.
Are they looking at that?
Blow it up so they can see it.
Right, people?
You’ve got to discipline yourselves.
What I want you to do, and I know some of you are well beyond this,
but it’s not going to hurt you to do this again.
Do you think that I read grammars?
I read grammars all the time, people.
That’s the way it is.
Why do I do it?
It’s like a drug, dog. I mean, seriously, once you get into the basic elements, like just stop
right there. Look at this people, unit seven, the middle voice, the middle voice. Wait, what? I
don’t even know what that is, man. I was raised speaking English, bog trotting English. I don’t
know what middle voice is. You have to learn something new that language can do because the
language that you use is insufficient. People look, can somebody tell me, satanic congregation,
what does this mean, 63? Conditional sentences with relative prophecies. You’re not even going
to know what a protest is, much less a whole corral of prophecies. You’re not going to know.
They want a conditional sentence.
Oh, God.
Do you understand?
This is where somebody who’s got a little modern Greek will say, oh, there’s no difference
until they dive into this.
And they see, oh, wait a minute.
This is a serious, serious study.
Yes, it is.
It’s a serious, serious study, right?
People look.
Here’s something you don’t even.
People look.
This is something you cannot possibly appreciate.
participles. And you say, wait a minute, I know what that is in English, right? Walking, driving,
jumping. Nice, nice. But did you know how to use participles? No, you don’t. Did you know there’s
an art that a participle is a piece of stone that you can sculpt into something to show the motion
of the sentence? No, you didn’t know that, did you? Because you haven’t dealt with Mother Greek.
And the Tower of Babel, this is too advanced stuff, people.
It’s too advanced, right?
Demonstrative adjectives.
Okay, true, keep regaling.
And that’s just at Unit 10.
That’s just at Unit 10, right?
Okay.
Halfway through.
Halfway through, people.
And it just keeps going.
Stop.
Look at Unit 14, where we learn participles.
Now we’re going to learn that present participle,
active and secondary participle. Wait, what? You mean there’s all sorts of different types
of participles? Yes. Remember, there’s millions of moving parts to this language. Think of it that
way. Think of it that way. Take it down from it. People, remember, ancient Hebrew, 7,000 words,
right? And those words can then be sculpted, but not by much. In Greek, the power to sculpt those
words shoots through exponentially through the ceiling. It’s that very plasticity, Greek,
very plasticity that gives Greek its superior power to communicate. Do you understand?
to pull out of the invisible, the visible concepts. You didn’t think language was a reaper,
did you? I want you to stop and I want you to think about this. Blow me up because these people
need to think about this. The language is the reaping device. You are pulling from the invisible
a reality and the language is the tool for doing that there are one well okay they don’t know how
many okay the database keeps search boom what if you add these and what if you add these there’s
millions millions of moving parts in ancient greek millions do you think you’re gonna master
this right do you think you’re gonna master this this isn’t just karate this isn’t just
and no offense to the karate people don’t somebody jump me someday and be like oh i’m
avenging karate this is not jiu-jitsu or karate or any of the martial arts this is the mistress
the master do you understand across all of the disciplines you’re nowhere without the logos
ah right do you see the do you see the dirtiness and the perversion of the classical philologist
They love this. They love this, that she’s the mistress of everything. Millions of moving parts.
Your brain can’t even work that quick now, or that powerfully. Millions of moving parts,
and each of those parts contributes to a dance that has a harmonic whole. Do you think this is
something. Do you think this is something that I can do for you? It’s not. Mother Greek has to do
it for you, and she will. I’ve seen her do it over and over and over again with people. I can’t be
connected with you person to person, at least not until this MO is finished, and I feel like I can
rest in peace, you know what I mean, right? That’s all an artist works for is an MO,
right? And those who die without them, what are they? They’re doomed, doomed to wander again
and again and again, right? Mother Greek, Mother Greek holds the key to opening up that portal.
The art is all there. There is an invisible universe around you, an invisible, what the
Greeks called cosmos an organization,
principalities and powers that be.
Understanding and seeing the invisible
is the product of that perfection that is ancient Greek.
I am not the one telling you this.
They are the ones showing us.
Classical philologists are guardians of those texts.
so you can see, people, why it is that I appear to be demon-possessed
when these fools come forward and say things that they don’t know,
just like Lucian’s people stepping up and saying,
there is a deception.
And what do the people do?
Oh, it’s Hebrew.
You’re not going to know it’s Hebrew, right?
Throw some Phoenician in there.
Mother of Greek waits for you.
I don’t care if you’re a Spartan, right?
because I tend to hang with Athenians. Yeah, I tend to hang. If you’re a rocker, you should be
hanging with Spartans. Do you understand? It’s those people who brought us that power that is
in that war song. And then when you’re done with those people, go hang around with some Athenians
because they perfected that instrument, that string. They perfected it. People, I’ve received
your words. I’ve taken them to heart. I’m talking about the genuine satanic congregation who’s
interested in learning Greek. And by the way, all of you Bible scholars out there who are sitting
there wondering, because you see my classical mojo. You see my classical mojo, right? And you’re
like, oh, I get all tingly, right? You’re welcome to follow us along and learn. We’re going to do
20 units, and I’m going to give you a base for everybody to be able to get through this. Yeah,
should we go down? By the way, people, look at the index. Keep going through the units, right?
Right? You get some special verbs here now, adjectives that have odd forms, right? Oh,
God, this base here, this base here, the Hiemi, you see there in 138, unit 18, right, we’re only
a couple units off of finishing, right, only a couple units off finishing at that point, oh,
Chewie, did you, Chewie, I thought you could fly better than that, right, couple of units,
there we go, blow it up, that’s okay, those are the, there you go, fantastic, there it is,
T-A-M-E, right, to release or hurl, right?
Yakio, right, to throw the Latin, right?
What am I going to do?
I’m going to add this to all sorts of different prefixes that are going to hone it.
And you’ve got to realize this is something you’re going to have to get used to with Greek.
You’re going to have to start thinking about honing your language, honing your language.
I don’t know what this would be musically. I can’t think of a, you know, it’s a focusing.
It’s a focusing of nailing that mathematical harmony. That’s all. That’s all. There is a tone.
Maybe I can explain it this way. There is a tone to the Greek, and you can get this tone
when you’re translating. Sometimes, you know, I’m a graduate student, first-year graduate student.
and I’m sitting there, and I’m not getting the tone. We’re translating Homer, and I’m not getting
the tone. It’s not, I’m waiting for it, right? A couple years later, I’m hitting the passages.
I’m going, I hit some Homer. Boom! This time, I catch the tone. It’s music, people. There is a
music to the language, and it’s not just raising or dropping in tone. There is a music. There are
the use of particles. Particles are instruments that you’re not using, okay? Trust me, to the
degree that the Greeks are using particles, you’re not. It’s a way of talking without speaking,
without saying anything, yeah. And students early on will skip over particles because if they really
don’t have a translation, it’s just saying this thought follows that thought, then you really
don’t need to say anything. But if you recognize they’re there, it still clicks in your brain.
This is the kind of thing that you’re going to have to learn, right? 20 units is your base.
And if you discipline yourselves, well, I should say yourself. If you discipline yourself,
you can get through it with just my 20 units, with just my 20 units, okay? Why? Why do we need
to do this. People, I need an army. I need an army. Are they watching this? No, they’re not.
I’ll tell you. Where was I? Army. I need an army. I need an army. Thank you. I need an army. I need
an army of free people who can carry on this dragon’s adventure, the adventure of preserving
the cosmos, preserving the order through the logos. Now that will make not as much sense to you
as when you’re sitting someday with some dead Greek learning things that form the basis of
who you are. Yeah, it’ll make sense then to a degree that it doesn’t now. That’s how Greek
works. That’s how beautiful she is. The more you get to know her, right, the more you want to know.
Oh, gorgeous. Gorgeousness and gorgiosity all together. People, I want you tonight. I just
wanted to, I know, now look, he didn’t bring me any nibblings. He didn’t bring me any yummy
juiciness. I’m going to end with one passage here. Go to Bible Hub. People, I want you to use this
site it’s okay everything everything that you can do is online right everything that you could
do is online you shouldn’t have to buy any resources don’t think i’m not plugging any
resources look here’s one called bible hub right and you can just look up verses on here
in the greek watch this you can push multi here uh let’s go to new testament here let me just
click down, here we go, we’ll just go to Mark, right, and let’s go to Mark 14, you know, you know
where I’m going, Mark 14, and it gets good at 51, right, remember people, people who are here for
the Bible, just here for the Bible, right, it’s impossible with me just to get the Bible, but
here you go um people look you can pull up the greek um new testament right you can get the
source the text nestle allen is the or the editors right and it is um it’s good very good
and uh i use it so anyway um look here people do you see all the different little words
do you see all the different one now wherever you’ve been wherever you’ve been you’re gonna
to get to the point. What you want to do is get to the point where you can look at this and see it
for the symphony it is. Kai neaniskos tis. All right, look at this little word tis. It doesn’t
have an accent. There’s no musical mark on the top of it. Do you know what that means? That means
it is an indefinite. Oh, it’s indefinite. It’s just someone. It’s just someone. What kind of
Neoniscos is this? Oh, just nobody in particular. What are you doing, Mother Greek? You’re
identifying. Think of Mother Greek as a scientist. She will identify everything that you run into,
right? And sometimes it’ll be hard for you to keep up, but that’s Mother Greek. Fantastic.
Yeah, people. And some young kid, this is a diminutive, some young kid was following him.
right? Assigned to him. Oh, look, here’s our participle. What is this participle doing?
It’s setting up for you the circumstances under which all of this is happening. This is outside.
This is like a narrator suddenly stepping in and saying, yeah, there was this kid and he was
attached to Jesus. And what were the circumstances that led up to him? Well,
he wrapped himself, epikoumnu, on his privates with a sindona. Okay, that participle is setting
up for us the circumstances under which, you know, we can say what’s happening. It’s brilliant. It’s
like a, it’s very courtroomy. Those participles are courtroom. What happened, Your Honor? Well,
this is happening at the time that witness X went into, right? Okay. Circumstances. People
look and what happens? They grabbed him, baby. They grabbed the kid. Who grabbed the kid? The
SWAT team. You mean there’s this naked kid there with a bandage on his hoo-ha and the SWAT team
grabbed him? Look at that, people. The action of the grabbing is at the end. That is really the
focus. Everything else is leading up to that punch in the language. Now look at this, people.
do you see the the word here kratusin followed by auton auton and i want that au because it’s the
the energy of that digamma is stored up there in the epsilon au hear the w sound okay and what is
so spectacular look at this new here people you see this new looks like an english v you see this
new? Oh, I can highlight it. Okay, look at the last letter here. Look at the new. Technically,
this word is kratusi, not kratusin with the new. Why is there a new there? Because the next word
starts with a vowel. And we can’t, we don’t want to end this one with a vowel and then jump to a
vowel, to another vowel. Do you see consonants are just breaks between the seven sacred strings.
Did you find the seventh, by the way? Those consonants are breaks between that tune,
between that note. There you go. Between those notes, musically. So it sounds better with a
consonant between them. So they throw one in between. English doesn’t care because English
is barbarian. Bar, bar, bar, bar, bar, right? Marching in the bog. But with Greek, we have to
catch things that are cacophonic and make them euphonic. Those are all Greek words. Cacophonic,
euphonic, Greek words. What do I mean when I take something that sounds bad and I clear it up to
something nice, something melodic. What am I doing? I’m taking the bass voice and I am creating
the song from it. Ancient Greek is a song, is a song. Okay. Fantastic. Go to the next verse. I
want people to, let’s look at a couple other magical things. Just go to another, just go to
next one 1452 right yeah how they got a leap on 10 seen donut
kumnos a fugen and the kid leaving behind dropping the bandage ran away
kumnos nude nude yes kumnos kumnos well are we confused about
about nudity? No, because every day you go to school and you wrestle in the gymnasium. And when
you do that, you wrestle nude, right? When we go to those, when we go to the Olympics, we go nude.
We compete nude, right? We compete nude. Why? Why would you compete nude? Have you ever seen an
Olympian nude? They’re quite spectacular physical creatures. They look like the statues that the
Greeks made, right? Their musculature is perfect. You ever see that? I feel bad watching the
Olympics, right? I don’t know about you guys, but I feel bad. I’m like, oh, what do we keep
telling? I watched the Olympics with Chewie a while back, and what was the lesson we learned?
You can do that. That’s like what the human body was meant to do, right? It’s a good thing I
discovered love oh god get out there run around people there’s an elegance to the language if
you just look at that last verse look at the the definite article that we have right up front
is going to use a verb that’s not right definite articles are supposed to go with nouns
the dog, right? The dog, definite article, noun, the dog. But we can take that definite article,
we can put it with a verb, and it becomes the person doing the action of the verb, the one who
is. There’s an implied being. And the Greeks love this stuff. The grammarians love this stuff. What’s
the difference between being and doing? What’s the difference between doing something for somebody
else or doing something for yourself. Did you know that they looked at those actions differently?
This is the power of Mother Greek. So get ready, people. There’s a reason they used to say it’s
all Greek to me, right? Because it’s difficult what we’re doing, and we’re going to study Greek
across 2,000 years of history. There’s a lot of change. Okay, people, I know. Yeah, Perseus. Yeah,
perseus and now look people i’m not going to recommend the tlg right off the bat they kicked
me off by the way they gave me a timeout they didn’t kick me off they gave me a timeout sent
me a note in my box i felt violated they sent me a note and it said sent me a note with a little
chicken foot on it and they were showing it to me i said what is that for no it’s because i was
using it too much. It’s because I was using it too much. And so they said, take a time out. Anyway,
this is TLG. None of those tools. I want people, no, I don’t want people to focus on Perseus.
People, we need to get this done. And I don’t want you to focus on anything but that textbook,
the Hanson and Quinn. Next time we meet, you have, you are best advised to listen to the author in
the introduction and read chapter one and do the exercises in chapter one, right? No, you don’t need
to show it. Be done because I’m going to do that, that, boom, and we’re done. You’re going to see a
couple more Lady Babylons than we usually have because I need to get people up to unit 20.
So thank you for hanging in there while I’ve been doing what I’ve been doing. I appreciate it and I
appreciate all of your, because people keep writing to me saying, how do I become your student? How
to become your student. We’re going to do it this way, people. Get the Hanson and Quinn text.
We have 20 Lady Babylons coming up that I’m going to intersperse and hopefully get you two to three
a week now with our regular Lady Babylon, where we just go over the text, right? And we’re going
to proceed that way. Things are going to pick up and I’m going to be in the middle of a whole bunch
of craziness okay personally all sorts of stuff so um let’s get it done let’s commit and hail satan
thank you for coming tonight congregation it was lovely to see you we punched a hole in the sky
with that lucian yesterday people are shocked as shit it’s not me fantastic hail satan
It’s Ursus, the man who laughs. Hashtag, he brought the good stuff. Drugs weigh a ton.
He’s rolled in the back, he shall give up, it’s dead, in a circle. Alejandro, Basil, this is Varsis.
