This episode places the Book of Enoch next to the New Testament letter of Jude to find where an old reading was quietly changed. Ammon Hillman says the oldest Old Testament text we have is the Greek Septuagint, and that Jesus quotes that Greek, not any Hebrew or Aramaic original. The hour focuses on two columns of the same passage: one plain, older text that calls the offspring giants, and one later copy that adds the word Nephilim, marked with brackets and daggers like an explanation stuck in on top.
The Greek is treated as the correction. Where the older column reads that the sons of Ouranos took wives and taught them the drugs and the incantations, the episode translates that they revealed the mysteries, anakalyptontes (ἀνακαλύπτοντες) ta mysteria (τὰ μυστήρια), and that the giants are called the famous ones, hoi onomastoi (οἱ ὀνομαστοί), skilled people rather than alien hybrids. Jude is then read beside it, where the same mystery vocabulary returns: the impious turn grace into aselgeia (ἀσέλγεια), sexual license, and the angels abandon their own ruling power and are kept in chains under darkness.
The language argument closes on two words placed side by side. Jude speaks of eternal chains with aidiois (ἀϊδίοις), the true word for timeless, while the life Jesus promises is aionic, the visible made from the invisible, not an endless future counted in years. From there the hour moves to Saturn, because the generation of the giants is the generation that castrated Ouranos, and the watchers of the popular translations turn out to be simply the ones who are awake, those who stay alert.
