This episode comes back from the road and straight into the Greek word for madness. The name put on screen is Lyssa (λύσσα), the old spirit of rage and frenzy. The channel reads the dictionary meaning: in Homer the word belongs to the rage of battle, but later it becomes a god-driven madness, a frenzy sent from outside. The point pressed is that mania (μανία) is not something random; it is a medicine and a weapon the mystery traditions deliberately drew out.
Ammon Hillman then sets that frenzy beside the sources. The voice of Io is quoted living through the madness, and the stream names the condition as phrenoplēktos mania (φρενοπλήκτος μανία), the mind-struck frenzy. It claims that when a person sees the truth of the old rites, the Bacchic chorus answers with that same fire, not to drown the seeker but to expose whoever stands against justice. The last block turns to the Bible. Mark 16 is read aloud, where the followers of Jesus cast out demons, speak in newly made languages, raise up serpents, and drink a death-inducing drug without harm. The channel calls that the real religion hidden behind the modern church. It ties those signs back to Medea, the Queen of Babylon, and says democracy was never a Christian invention: it was sung into being by the same women and musicians the old world honored. The closing request is simply to stand for the light they carried.
