Video Description
The shared feeling that something is moving may have a physical echo. This video from the Conscious Radical channel begins with the Schumann resonance, an electromagnetic beat measured around the Earth at roughly 7.83 hertz, close to the frequency range found in meditation and slow, focused attention.
It reads the science with wonder rather than magic: the HeartMath Institute’s work on heart coherence, the idea that fields talk to fields, and the quiet moment when a person stops pushing and becomes available to receive. The claim is not that special people have access, but that ordinary people are more tuned to the frequency than at any point in recent history. The question left at the end is how to stay open to it.

The frequency is already playing and perhaps you have felt this too but it does feel like
something is shifting and to me it feels like the ground is moving under everyday life.
More people are asking different questions and the conversations that would have seemed strange
five years ago are now much more commonplace and are not considered to be woo-woo and if you’ve
noticed it let me reassure you it isn’t just you it’s also not just the news cycle though that is
certainly doing its part i think something is moving through the collective right now there’s
a concept in physics called the schumann resonance where the earth has a heartbeat and it resonates
at a frequency of around 7.83 hertz now schumann calculated this back in 1952 and it’s been
measured ever since. But the frequency isn’t static, it spikes and it shifts. When we’re in
deep states of meditation, deep relaxation or flow, our brain produces waves in almost exactly that
range. Theta and alpha waves, 4 to 12 hertz. So physics tells us that the earth has a frequency
and human consciousness has frequency and they overlap. I mean how amazing is that? And you may
have heard of the HeartMath Institute which is a legitimate research organisation and they’ve spent
decades studying the electromagnetic field produced by the human heart. The heart produces
the largest electromagnetic field in the body, significantly larger than the brain and that
field extends beyond the body and it can be detected by other people in close proximity.
Their research shows that when two people are in a state of what they call coherence,
when they’re calm, present and regulated, their heart rhythms begin to synchronise
without any physical contact and without speaking. That’s fields talking to fields.
If individual hearts create fields and those fields interact with other fields and the earth
itself generates a field, then the idea of a collective shift in consciousness starts to feel
real and is worth taking seriously because something is most definitely in the air and I am
totally here for it. Carl Jung spent his career mapping what he called the collective unconscious,
a field of human awareness shared through patterns and symbols and archetypes and these exist beyond
individual minds and I’ve often thought about how historical ideas or stories were created on
different sides of the world without any communication and I’d sort of put it down to a
hive mind and Jung noticed the same thing. He noticed that the same symbols appeared in the
dreams of people who had never met across cultures and centuries and that certain ideas seem to
emerge simultaneously in different parts of the world with no apparent connection and he called
them synchronicities. He wasn’t working with electromagnetic field theory but what he described
maps remarkably well onto what the researchers at HeartMath are now measuring. My question at this
point is, if the field is a broadcast, how do you tune in? Most conversations about spiritual
awakening are framed as something you achieve after enough meditation, therapy or inner work.
Basically, you must practice and then you’ll get the awareness. But I think that’s backwards.
What if awakening is less about production and more about reception? What if the frequency
has always been broadcasting but we haven’t stopped to consider what’s blocking the signal.
What I’ve noticed in my own experience and my own research is the awakening moments happen
when we drop something. That something could be a belief that wasn’t true or a role that wasn’t
yours to play, a story about who you were supposed to be and once that fell away the signal came
through. So what does tuning in actually look like? Because I want this to be
useful not just interesting. Well the heart math research on coherence is
instructive here. Coherence isn’t a feeling is a physiological state. Heart
rate variability, the pattern of variation between heartbeats and when it
becomes ordered or rhythmic and smooth your state is then associated with
clearer thinking. You have better emotional regulation and heightened
intuition. This almost gives you a superpower. Faster access to pattern recognition that the
analytical mind has been too slow to catch and you can shift into coherence deliberately
through attention. Five slow breaths focused on the area of the heart while holding a genuine
feeling of appreciation or care. That’s one way in. The other is simpler and harder. Stop flooding
the system. The field is always broadcasting but you can’t receive anything when you’re running at
full noise. Outrage, anxiety, constant information input, these aren’t neutral states and they narrow
the bandwidth and keep you in a frequency range where the signal can’t get through. I’ve been
thinking and writing about this for years but I do think the awakening that’s happening right now
isn’t the same as the ones before. It’s not contained to monasteries or to people who’ve
opted out of ordinary life or to a particular tradition. It’s moving through people who are
fully inside the world, raising children, running organisations and navigating systems. The shift I
am seeing isn’t away from the world but towards a different way of being in it because the frequency
has always been playing and I think there are more people within its range than any point in
recent history. Not gurus or monks or spiritual leaders, just ordinary people like you and me
who are now more available to receive it. If this landed something for you, leave a comment. Tell me
what you’re noticing because this is a conversation, not a broadcast. Well, it’s both but you know what I mean.
