The episode opens on the present and works backward to a set of Greek texts. Ammon Hillman plays news reporting on a fourteen-year-old boy named Jad Jadallah, shot by Israeli soldiers in the occupied West Bank and left on the ground to bleed for about forty-five minutes, and then a recorded exchange with Mike Huckabee about the extradition of an Israeli official wanted in the United States for attempted molestation of a child. He also plays a Holocaust survivor named Steve, identified on screen as writing from DDN, who states plainly that the genocide in Gaza is not happening in his name and that using the memory of the Holocaust to justify it insults that memory.
The center of the hour is Deuteronomy 7, read in the Greek of the Septuagint, which the show calls the Bible’s own extermination plan. It points to the verse in which the people are told that when the Lord leads them into the land of seven nations, he will give them over and they will slaughter and wipe them out, and it holds up a lexicon entry showing the verb patassein (πατάσσειν), to smite or slaughter, with its Septuagint reference. It also points to the related word for the complete destruction that it calls the holocaust, and to verse five, where the people are told to tear down altars, break monuments, and burn everything. The claim is that destruction-language is right there in the Greek, not hidden in translation.
The last part reads the rationale. It shows the line hoti laos hagios (ὅτι λαὸς ἅγιος), because you are a holy people, chosen above all the peoples on the earth, and it argues that this is the idea that lets one group treat everyone else as less than human. Around that the hour returns to the footage, sets the ancient chosen-people doctrine beside the modern genocidal army, and closes by naming justice as the exposure of the plan and the punishment of the ones who carry it out.
