Video Description
This episode is the second round of crusade stories, and it starts with the poet behind Junius. People came up to the channel all night asking about their dreams, and the stream admits it had to say no: it cannot read anyone’s dreams. The answer sits in a single Greek word, the long classical term for an incantation that makes the operator see a god in sleep. The point pressed is that dreaming and vision were once treated as a trained technology, not a private mystery.
Ammon Hillman then reads the song in layers. The image put on screen is Medusa (Μέδουσα), the one who rules with her mind, and beside her the gigas (Γίγας), a female giant the stream calls the Bronze Age form that later became the male son of god. From the Greek magical papyri come the stranger ingredients: ichōr (ἰχώρ), the fluid of a dead virgin, and embryon gynaikos (ἔμβρυον), the thing nourished inside the woman, which English flattened into embryo. Another title appears as Brimō (Βριμώ), the queen of magical power who works with the dead.
The closing challenge goes to the musicians. The stream says the kithara (κιθάρα), the stringed instrument, has been waiting for lightning, and that the devil’s song is already locked inside the poet’s lyrics. It frames Joe as someone receiving words he did not invent, and calls the metal audience forward to shape those words into the return of the old music. The request is not for new entertainment, but for a form of music the episode claims has been asleep for two thousand years.
